My favorite image of the set --
Part of the "Bodies Unfit" series, my final project for Film Photography I. It was an experience--twelve images, six rolls of film, in two weeks along with other classes. We all got it done, though--and I'll never forget turning in my first "series". All effects achieved in the darkroom. The Series was about how society judges overweight or out of shape bodies as unfit, like dilapidated houses, these are the horrors of the flesh for those who don't understand that a body that doesn't fit social norms is still a body housing a human soul, perfect and complete. |
